My View From The Pew - Introduction

I have  observed many events, phenomenons, loves exchanged, sorrows expressed, praises lifted up and so much more, all from the view of my pew.

We often think of the pews we sit on simply as a place to sit during church. And in many ways this may be true. But in many others it is so much more

I have sat on many different pews of different sizes, shapes and comfort (we've all been there lol). I have learned to not only appreciate my sitting post but to respect it as well. It's my alter, my social meeting spot, it's where I feel at home, it's where my life is changed, it's where I'm challenged, it is where I learned what it means to be a child of God.

I was born and raised in church. I guess you could say "I cut my teeth on the church pew." Not only have I been attending church my whole life, but I have been a preacher's daughter my entire life as well.

While I have been blessed many different ways in many different places, nothing compares to sitting on a church pew.

I say all of this to introduce this new blog that I hope to be a blessing and possibly even a tool for many. 'My View From the Pew' is a  blog based on the points of view from those who has been raised in and around ministry their entire lives.

I have prayed for some time about writing a blog along these lines and am finally doing so. Please keep this blog in your prayers; as I have stated before; I truly hope for this to be both a blessing and tool for many.

Be on the outlook for upcoming post!
